The air booster fan assisted system offers direct cooling to those hard to cool areas where clusters of high-density servers have created hot spots or where air-flow is low due to underfloor restrictions.
• No downtime or movement of racks is required.
• The overall room temperature can be increased as the air booster will control the individual problematic hot spots without requiring an over cooled data center.
• The Temperature Controlled air booster is designed to support connection to a BMS.
• The air booster can report both “unit failure” as well as “pre-set maximum temperature exceeded”.
• The controller by Control Resources Incorporated, controls the fan speed from temperature signals received from the 1 to 3 remote temperature sensors.
• The speed of the fans will increase or decrease according to temperature changes.
